RUNNING WITH PURPOSE
When we talk about sports, we often think of finish lines, stopwatches, and rankings. But the true value of sport isn’t measured in results—it’s found in the journey we take and, most importantly, the impact we leave behind. At Klassmark, organizing races isn’t just about kilometers; it’s an opportunity to connect with people, the land, and the environment.
When Water Destroys Everything: The DANA in Valencia
Nature is as incredible as it is unforgiving. We witnessed this a few months ago, when the DANA struck Valencia with devastating force. Flooded homes, ruined fields, and streets turned into rivers. In the face of such destruction, the question wasn’t “why?” but “what can we do?”
Through Open Arms, we mobilized financial resources to support the communities most affected. But we didn’t stop there. Raquel and Júlia, two members of our team, traveled to Valencia and spent three days directly helping with cleanup efforts. Amid mud and debris, they worked to recover spaces and, more importantly, restore hope to many families.
“It was exhausting but absolutely necessary. When you have the chance to help, you simply do it,” explains Raquel. These experiences remind us that, often, the smallest gestures can have the biggest impact.
Our goal is simple: for every step we take to leave a positive mark—not just on the trail but also on the world.
